My name is Daniela Dimitrova. I am a designer based in Seattle, WA but my roots lay far far away in a small Eastern-European country called Bulgaria.
I was born and raised on the Black Sea coast and immigrated to the United States in 2011 when my family won the American Green Card lottery and decided to move. My new home gave me a lot of new opportunities to develop my skills and before a creative professional. I spent my youth drawing for charity, for contests, for exhibitions...But expressing emotion was not motivational for me, I dreamed about creating something that inspires, has purpose, and functionality.
I found delight in design! I am a recent design graduate from Western Washington Univeristy who wants to work for a company that creates value, communicates ideas, and empowers users through cohesive, functional, and simple design.

I design with the user in mind. I strive to craft a product that follows their thought process, anticipates every need, and pushes them forward. The challenges, results, and opportunities that arise when solving a user problem is what motivates me to try harder and dig deeper. I get inspired by innovative technology, cultural progress, and the people that surround me. Asking why, discovering things that I had never known before, and collaborating with diverse individuals help me tell better stories and make my design more useful and delightful.

When I’m not on the job, I love hiking, drawing, watching movies, and indulging my love for seeing new places.
